MANDALA

This series is a collection of my MANDALA Artworks.

The Mandala, the Sanskrit word for circle...it became my focal point of creation. The Mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol made of geometric patterns. In Hinduism and Buddhism, it represents our Cosmos, both metaphysically and symbolically.  A microcosm of the universe.

Incorporating the meditational art method of Zentangle.com in to my mandalas created Zendalas and the intricate ink and pen work speaks of the balance and calm I wish to see throughout the world.
