ZIA - Zentangle Inspired Art

Although this term can be vague, it generally refers to artwork created on traditional paper tiles that are inspired by the Zentangle Method® . It can also refer to artwork that is done with the same inspiration using other media - fabric, wood, metal, paper etc.

Tangle (defined in "Zentangle" terminology):

1. A structured abstract (i.e., nonrepresentational, nonfigurative, nonobjective, nonrealistic) pattern created with at most 2 or 3 simple elemental strokes drawn with a fine-nib black ink pen.

2.In its verb form “tangle” means to draw a tangle. You tangle a tangle, and in that process creates Zentangle art.
